A SaaS product I designed, built and shipped end to end. CiteScript turns video scripts and podcast transcripts into SEO-ready articles, FAQ pages, social posts, show notes and podcast episode kits.

Search engines and AI assistants read text, not video. CiteScript closes that gap: one pasted script fans out to five publishable formats in under two minutes.

Built for small businesses and podcasters who publish video and own a website. Everything from the brand and marketing site to the generation workspace, billing and infrastructure is my work.

The script-to-article generation workspace

Design Direction

Quiet, exacting, warm. A product about the written word has to be typeset like it means it.

The buyers fear publishing AI slop, so the site must never look like the generic AI-SaaS template. No dark hero, no purple gradients, no hype. A warm off-white canvas, near-black ink, and orange only where something happens.

The working tool sits above the fold. The typography of the interface is the proof of the product's promise.

Everything a production SaaS needs, shipped by one person.

Edge deployment

Next.js App Router on Cloudflare Workers, statically generated marketing pages, blog with RSS and sitemap.

Streaming AI generation

Claude via the AI SDK with streamed structured output, so articles render live as they generate.

Auth & accounts

Magic-link and Google sign-in, with anonymous use before signup so the first video needs no account.

Subscriptions & billing

Checkout, customer portal and webhook sync through a merchant of record, with tiered monthly quotas.

Quotas & rate limiting

Per-tier fair-use ceilings and burst limits enforced at the edge, including anonymous visitors.

SEO that practices what it preaches

The site carries the same schema, meta tags and structure the product generates for its customers.
